The Griffeen Centre built by Burns Construction for Castlethorn is a retail and commercial centre, comprising seven ground floor retail units and a creche, with six overhead office units, community centre and internal fit outs. Burns also built the pharmacy and medical centre. Furthermore, the centre also houses a two storey landmark corner restaurant building, and the largest Centra shop in Ireland. Burns Construction built the centre and surrounding car park from a green field site and the €8.6 million contract was completed within 14 months.
